Jose Mourinho's men booked their place in the Europa League final on Thursday night with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Celta Vigo - Marouane Fellaini getting what turned out to be the tie's winning goal.
The Portuguese rotated his team with all focus now on the Europa League and ended up losing 2-1 to a Spurs side who were in party mood for the final ever game to be staged at the stadium.
United have two more league fixtures to negotiate before getting on the plane to Stockholm, with a trip to Southampton on Wednesday and a home game against Crystal Palace next Sunday.
Fellaini served the final game of his domestic suspension against Spurs so is eligible for Premier League selection again.
